Swedish Midsummer Festivities in Djäkneberget, Västerås

REWORD

The summer solstice in Sweden is annually celebrated by dancing by and around the Midsummer pole in traditional Swedish garment during the eve of Midsummer. This is usually on a Friday (becomes a long weekend), and considered to be a national holiday in Sweden. The festivities continue on throughout the weekend.
