During Winter, especially the Christmas season, a Christmas Market in Gamla Stan (Old Town Stockholm) has Scandinavian artisans sell their products for the season.
Also, during the 13th of December, Lucia is celebrated in Sweden and all over Scandinavia. During this day, I tried to achieve both: visiting the season’s Christmas Bazaar and attempting several times to catch a Lucia concert or a Lucia procession.
I achieved almost both. It was quite a setback since all available churches in Old Town Stockholm which had scheduled Lucia concerts were sold out by the time we arrived, but we were still able to attend one before going home. It was at St. Eugenia's Church near The King's Garden (Kungsträdgården).
